DAYNA MCISAAC IS A FREELANCE FOOD STYLIST BASED IN TORONTO.
Prior to that, she worked in the ad industry as a copywriter turned art director, then creative director. To make the day last longer, she studied culinary art and began recipe developing, recording new recipes first on her successful blog, Vegan Visitor. This led to photography jobs and finally styling. .
She has a strong understanding of branding on set, and talent for design and trouble shooting tricky food, when necessary. Her experience includes advertising, editorial, advertorial, packaging and motion for Canadian as well as International clients.
For many of her clients, Dayna still develops recipes as well as style, which she thoroughly enjoys. Combining her love of the creativity and food, she uses clients’ specific products in unique and on trend ways and always keeps the visual imagery in mind to go with it.
When she isn’t working on set, you can often find her photographing for her instagram, reading new cookbooks like novels and getting in the kitchen to play with new recipes or ingredients.
